Our mini trip to the twin cities

I made an executive decision that our family needed to get out of town, even if it was just for a night, so we packed up and headed to the twin cities. We had planned on taking Ava to Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America and then just go from there. Well Nick Universe was packed, so we spent most of our Sat there. After we ate dinner we took Ava to Build-A-Bear and let her pick out a stuffed animal to "build". She had such a great day, it was just what we needed to get through our less than wonderful spring we are having!! The next day it was back to the good 'ol MOA to do some shopping around. Ava LOVED the Disney store, and was able to talk her daddy into getting some new Disney stuff!!! All in all, it was a very busy but very fun little get away. Ava had a blast and was super worn out by the time we left the mall on Sun, I think she was asleep before we got out of the mall parking lot!! Harper was a total trooper the whole time-no surprise there!! Ronnie & I also had fun, although he says he is all shopped out for awhile (the mall of america will do that to a person!!)
